Slovak agricultural group Sanagro promotes cage-free breeding and therefore has not operated in the past, and on the basis of this commitment in the future nor will not produce, process or distribute cage eggs.
This commitment applies to all current as well as future owned and licensed operations under Sanagro group.
In the case of a takeover of an operation with existing cage rearing, this in the shortest possible time we'll convert to cage-free breeding.
Sanagro Group will be open to independent external audits and transparent communication with Humane Progress in fulfilling this commitment. For this reason, we publish this commitment on our website
