At Sanagra, we believe that true power is shown when we do not remain indifferent.
There are times when even a small act turns into a big thing. And before Christmas, even more so - when we can comfort someone who lacks closeness and companionship. That's why this year we decided to join the nationwide initiative "How much love fits in a shoebox", which regularly brings joy to seniors in homes across Slovakia.
The point of the project is simple and beautiful: to prepare a Christmas package for one senior citizen, wrap it in a decorated shoebox and give it to him or her together with a wish. Of course you can make more boxes
Not because anyone expects it, but because even a small gesture can bring great joy. Volunteers all over Slovakia then deliver these boxes to nursing homes and social service facilities, where they become gifts full of attention, humanity and gratitude.
